Visa advice service
The International Student Office provides visa advice on student and study-related immigration matters. The service is available to those with an offer to study at the University and current students.
Areas of advice include:
- how, when and where to apply for your Student visa
- Student Dependant visa for family
- how changes in circumstances during studies may have implications for your Student visa
- immigration permission for short-courses or residential sessions
- Graduate visa
Send your query to the International Student Office by emailing: international.students@admin.cam.ac.uk.
We aim to provide a response within 3 working days, but this is not always possible during peak periods.
We are unable to provide immigration advice over the phone. Our visa advice is usually provided by email correspondence. It is possible to request an appointment with a member of staff but priority is given to students with particularly complex circumstances. Any requests for an appointment should include an overview of the nature of the query that you would like to discuss. Appointments must be booked in advance.
