Public events 

The University’s What’s On lists daily activities including exhibitions, music, talks, theatre, film, courses/workshops, sports, science, and family friendly events. 

Cambridge area and beyond

Visit Cambridge provides information on Cambridge and the surrounding area.   Here you can search for food outlets by location, find where to shop, search on what to do by theme and location and find out how to get around using a variety of transport.

Cambridge has good rail and road links making it easy to visit other parts of the UK and Europe.  London is 40 minutes away by train.  The University's Estate Management provides travel information.


Cambridgeshire County Council provides information on cycle routes (in the city and outlying areas), cycle safety (including information on cycle helmets, how to make yourself visible, and how to maintain your bike), and cycle training.
