You may wish to participate in one or more of the registered student societies.
The Public Engagement team work closely with voluntary organisations, and support public engagement, community and outreach work. If you, or a society that you belong to, would like to get involved with volunteer work, contact the team for further information.

If you would like to undertake an internship, or do vacation work or other work, you will need to be mindful of the University's working restrictions. If you are studying on a student visa, you will also need to check the working conditions under Tier 4. If you are unsure, you should contact the International Student Team.
